CMAS Diver Grades

Introductory diving makes it possible to try diving without having to take an entire diving course. It can be completed in a pool or in the sea / lake.

You will undertake your introductory dive with a trained and qualified CMAS diving instructor.

The CMAS One Star Diver is the introduction course for new divers.

After completing the course, you have sufficient knowledge and water skills to dive in open water to a maximum depth of 20 metres, in similar or better conditions as your training environment, together with a dive buddy who is at least a CMAS One Star Diver.

The education includes theory sections including, the physics of diving, handling diving equipment, diving tables and diving computer, diving medicine, emergency procedures and basic diving planning.

You will also practice diving practically, first in a pool or in a safe bay and then in open water.

The CMAS Two Star Diver is an advanced course which builds on your CMAS One Star Diver skills.

After completing the course, you will have a greater depth of knowledge and the skills to dive to a maximum depth of 30 metres,
